CNC Machining/Router Cutting

Coastal Plastics specializes in precision CNC machining of a wide array of plastics, including acrylic, polycarbonate, polypropylene, polyethylene, ABS, PVC, timber, and all nonferrous metals.  Our capabilities allow us to offer custom tailored solutions and short lead times. With our CNC’s we can cater for a variety of applications including manufacturing parts, signage, POS displays, aluminium extrusion slotting,  visual displays, and much more.

Laser Cutting and Engraving

With our laser cutting we cut up to 15mm acrylic and 6mm ply and our bed size is 900mm X 1300mm. We can as well engrave on plastics, timber and glass.  The laser allows us to manufacture fine detailed letters to suit most signage applications.  We require files in any vectored outline format i.e. AI, EPS, DWG, DXF, CDR, PDF.

Printing / Trade Signage 

We now offer large format printing as well as sign manufacturing to the trade sector. Coastal Plastics can offer complete plug and play of light boxes with full graphics.  All design and fabrication carried out in-house.     

Fabrication and Welding

With the latest equipment we are able to produce a wide variety of plastic covers, displays, guards, and 3D signage.  We manufacture from your provided drawings and or sketches in most cases.  We can fabricate from acrylic, polycarbonate, rigid pvc, polypropylene and polyethylene.  We use the latest German made welding equipment.

  • Standard sheet size 1220mm x 2440mm

  • Oversize sheet 2030mm x 3050mm in Acrylic and Polycarbonate

  • Can also cut sheet to any required size

Vacuum Forming

Vacuum forming is a simplified version of thermoforming, where a sheet of plastic is heated to a forming temperature, stretched onto a single-surface mould, and forced against the mould by a vacuum.” We can form up to 850mm X 1750mm with a 300mm draw.
